Biodegradable Bags

Biodegradable fish shipping bags reduce the amount of time it takes a plastic bag to degrade in a landfill from hundreds of years to approximately 3–5 five years, depending upon your individual landfill’s management practices.

Biodegradation: The process by which an organic material degrades through the actions of microorganisms over a period of time. Biodegradation can occur in either aerobic (with oxygen) or anaerobic (without oxygen) environments.

Achievement of greatly enhanced biodegradability is achieved with a totally safe additive to our normal high-end plastic resin used during the raw material manufacturing process. This additive is absolutely safe for humans, pets, and fish. We have detailed documentation we can share with you upon request.
